| Gathering the results of the previous page, we see that the left and right stereo perspective projection matrices can be represented as indicated in the two matrices shown on the right. The shear operation mentioned earlier is now apparent: the amount that the x coordinates of points are shifted is a function of their distance from the eye (i.e., a function of their z coordinate). |
