Personal

Born in Isfahan, Iran; Moved to the U.S. in August 1977; Married to Zohreh in 1991; two sons named Ideen (1993) and Seena (2001).

Zohreh has a Ph.D. in molecular genetics from the University of Nebraska Medical Center ( 2000) and is currently a research scientist at the Children's Mercy Hospital and an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
